Speakeasy Cocktail Saloon & Live Performances

The Stateroom is reminiscent of the lively dance and entertainment halls of the Roaring 20s, that glorious decade when jazz flourished and liquor was in volume despite prohibition.

The bar program focuses on original flavor profiles created with syrups, infusions and bitters made in-house. Behind every cocktail is a novel, an artist, a renegade and a story. In addition to an unusual cocktail menu, there is an extensive list of spirits and an evening program with the best live jazz, soul, blues and bossa nova sounds that Düsseldorf and the surrounding area has to offer.

Eco-friendly water that doesn't require transportation!- That fits with our philosophy. We work together with Nordaq. A company that has developed a water filtration system that serves sustainability and also improves the taste of food and wine.


Our coffee is sourced and roasted with taste, quality and sustainability in mind. To promote the sustainable coffee trade, we pay a higher price for our coffee based on its quality. Our selected partner is Carles Roastery from Kaarst, as they stand for quality, fair direct trade and transparency. Several meetings and tastings were held to create a blend that fits the character of Mbassy described above and to support the community within and across borders.


In cooperation with the Berlin company "Paper & Tee", we focus on providing natural loose tea from smaller farms.


The Bulle Bakery produces exclusively with natural ingredients - without malt and baking powder and entirely by hand. They attach great importance to their own sourdough cultures and give the dough a lot of time to keep it fresh for a long time and give it a lot of taste.


Our variety of herbs comes from the company Blattsache. Here, too, great value is placed on sustainability and freshness, in line with our concept.
